What is DMIA?

Dermatoglyphics Multiple Intelligence Analysis (DMIA) is a system that combines the scientific study of fingerprints (dermatoglyphics) with the study of Multiple Intelligence. The system helps to identify our intrinsic potential that we might not even be aware of.

To understand this system better, let us first look at the two components:

1. Dermatoglyphics

Dermatoglyphics is the scientific study of fingerprints.

Scientists have discovered that as the embryo grows during pregnancy, the formation of our fingerprints takes place at the same time as the brain and the spinal cord development. Further research revealed that each of our 10 fingerprints reflects a different region of our brain.

Now that this relation between the brain and the fingerprints has been established, scientists can study our fingerprints to help identify how our brains differ from others.   Learn More

2. Multiple Intelligence

In his 1983 book, Harvard psychologist Howard Gardner challenged the belief that the ‘IQ’ system alone could help gauge the complexities of the human brain and the human potential.

According to Gardner, we should not just look at one measure of IQ to understand our own capabilities, but rather study the several ‘basic intelligences’ that form our personality and intelligence.  Learn More

With the DMIA system our aim is to help you understand yourself better by studying your fingerprints and applying the data to the Multiple Intelligence model. It helps us understand your multiple intelligences as well as your innate potential capabilities and personality.

At Brain Caliber, we combine the analysis of the Multiple Intelligence model with that of the communication profiling models – DOPE and DISC.

This helps us provide you with a detailed analysis of your behavior patterns and preferences.

The analysis also helps in understanding the apt stimulants to further develop these capabilities and build them into strengths.
